Dallas, Texas, 10/06/2014 (ustrademedia) – Wave Systems Corp. (NASDAQ:WAVX) announced last week that it has managed to win a coveted sales contract from an unnamed U.S. federal government agency. The contract stipulates Wave to supply its proprietary Virtual Smart Card 2.0 to its federal customer. Company CEO Bill Solms has expressed his happiness at the development and termed it as a major milestone for the firm. Wave Virtual Smart Card 2.0 is expected to meet the increased security requirements of the federal agency and is slated to help augment the government departments “system authentication” needs. The Wave Virtual Smart Card 2.0 is said to be an enterprise-grade smart card management solution, which is designed to reduce the cost of implementing huge organization wide security needs.

Durata Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:DRTX) announced on 3rd October that it has received a “Special Protocol Agreement” from the office of U.S Food and Drug Administration. The Protocol agreement is linked to the Phase 3 clinical testing of its drug candidate DALVANCE (dalbavancin). The drug candidate is being developed in an injection format. The drug is being designed to treat pneumonia. The new agreement is expected to align the objectives of the phase 3 tests with the stringent FDA approval requirements.  The drug if approved would help provide a one shot treatment for certain forms of pneumonia.

BURLINGTON, headquartered Demandware Inc (NYSE:DWRE) cloud solutions provider announced on 6th October that it is kicking off “Demandware XChange European Summit” at BARCELONA, Spain. The two-day extravenza is expected to bring together nearly 500 members of the company’s user community. They talk shop is being positioned as an interactive platform on the current market scenario and future trends which are emerging in the digital retail space. It has lined up guest speakers from companies like BESTSELLER and WIRED magazine published out of UK.
