Dallas, Texas, 09/24/2014 (ustrademedia) – Clean energy market player Tecogen® Inc. (NASDAQ:TGEN) announced yesterday that it has sold a 225 kW co-generation power system to an unnamed hospital in Northern California. The hospital which has bought the co-generator manages a one hundred eighty one bed medical and surgical medical facility. The deal involved Tecogen® Inc. (NASDAQ:TGEN) selling three of its 75 kW capacity heat and power (CHP) generating modules to the hospital. The press note indicated that the generators are equipped with state of the art and proprietary Ultra low emissions system, which will help the hospital generate clean power. The firm also reminded the general public that in the past eight months, it has sold seven such similar co-generators to the current client’s sister concern.

Virtus Total Return Fund (NYSE:DCA) yesterday announced its dividend distribution plan for its third quarter operations. The dividends add up to 10 cents per share and would be payable on 21st October 21 to all its shareholders of record as of 14th October. The stock is going to become ex-dividend on 9th October. The fund managers released a press note to this effect yesterday. In the press briefing, the fund managers indicated that the distributions could represent the earnings that it has managed to generate from its investment activates.

Private-sector coal producer Peabody Energy (NYSE:BTU) provided an updated outlook for its third quarter operations yesterday. As per the latest estimates, the firm hopes to bring in 3Q14 adjusted EBITDA in the range of $190 to $210 million. These new numbers represent a slight increase over the firm’s previous outlook. The firm in its press release noted that the increase has been made possible due to the strong cost improvements it has been able to achieve in the duration of the reporting quarter. It also reported better-than-expected gains from its mining activities in Western United States.
