Rentrak Corporation (NASDAQ:RENT): Signed TV Ratings Agreement with IndiaCast

Dallas, Texas, 09/23/2014 (ustrademedia) – Rentrak Corporation (NASDAQ:RENT) today announced an agreement with IndiaCast, a Viacom 18 Media Pvt. Ltd. entity, for its networks MTV India and Aapka Colors. IndiaCast will leverage the company’s TV rating currency for programming research and tool for its advertising sales efforts. The company’s TV rating service is the fully integrated system of telco, satellite and cable TV viewing information from over 29 million TVs and Video-on-Demand in all 210 markets projected to the U.S. viewers. The company specializes in ‘precisely’ measuring viewing behavior of TV and movies to provide global consumer viewership information.
