Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) Inks Deal With Adam Sandler To Co-Produce 4 Movies

Dallas, Texas, 10/02/2014 (ustrademedia) – Internet TV network provider Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) in a press release announced that it has roped in popular movie hero and producer ADAM SANDLER to exclusively produce four new movies. The deal brings the storied comedian closer to nearly 50 MILLION NETFLIX MEMBERS, who have consistently ranked his movies as one of the most viewed in U.S, Brazil and U.K.

ADAM SANDLER has over the years made a name for himself as one of the most sought after comedy heroes on either side of the Atlantic Ocean. His movies have generated nearly $3 billion in revenue over the years as box office earnings. Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) in its press release has indicated that ADAM SANDLER produced movies are some of the most sought after and repeatedly downloaded and watched content on its network.

Company’s Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandon has indicated that ADAM SANDLER backed Happy Madison Productions will be working closely with Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) to produce four new movies which would be available exclusively for the users of the internet TV firm which are spread across 50 countries. The press note also quotes ADAM SANDLER to have said that, “When these fine people came to me with an offer to make four movies for them, I immediately said yes for one reason and one reason only. Netflix rhymes with Wet Chicks. Let the streaming begin!!!!”

Some of ADAM SANDLER written and starred movies include popular hits like The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry and You Don’t Mess with the Zohan. He has been the recipient of major critical acclaim for some of movies like Punch-Drunk Love and  Funny People. Neither of the movie actor nor the company shared the financial details of the tie up.
