Dallas, Texas, 09/29/2014 (ustrademedia) – Violin Memory Inc. (NYSE:VMEM) terminated its ‘Credit Agreement’ with SVB (Silicon Valley Bank), as “administrative agent” for the banks and other financial institutions. The Agreement provided for loans of up to $40 million, including $30 million as a line of credit and $10 million as a term loan. The company recently issued $105 million of 4.25 percent Convertible Senior Notes due 2019 in a private placement. In connection with this placement, the company opted to terminate the Agreement with SVB and paid a facility termination fee of $900,000. Violin also paid $10 million owed under the Agreement and $62,325 in miscellaneous fees and accrued interest.

Delta Air Lines, Inc. (NYSE:DAL) recently reported canceling 289 flights on Friday and 40 flights on Saturday from O’Hare International Airport. A tracking website, mentioned that about 45 percent of departing flights from O’Hare and 79 percent at nearby Midway airport were canceled. The man is suspected of intentionally starting a fire at an air-traffic center in Aurora. The controller facility oversees high-altitude traffic across Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana and Illinois. However, no charges have been filed in connection with the incident, which resulted to the evacuation of controllers and disruption of a major air route for many airlines.

The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO) recently revealed that seven Grammy Awards winner Taylor Swift joins the Diet Cock ‘Get a Taste’ campaign. The campaign showcases the delicious taste of Diet Coke and Taylor will encourage fans to ‘Get a Taste’ of the world they love. Taylor Swift will also feature in a Diet Coke commercial debuting in October. The commercial will spot an unreleased clip from Taylor’s fifth studio album, 1989. Throughout October, Ms. Swift will allow promotion of behind-the-scenes look at the campaign via social and digital media. The campaign will also help build excitement for her album releasing in stores on October 27, 2014.
