The surveillance mode debut by Ford was on its 2014 Ford Police Interceptor. It now hopes that the surveillance mode will be used in different applications such as military applications, law enforcement as well as by military personnel all over the world. The mode will enhance law enforcement officers to better assess their situation and will also enable them to use the surveillance mode as their first line of defense when attacked by assailants.
Sprint Corporation (NYSE:S) reported that its CFO Joe Euteneur will speak at the 22nd Annual Leveraged Finance Conference held by Deustche Bank for the year 2014. The communications service provider will also provide a live audio webcast of the session.
Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE:BSX) announced that it has received the CE Mark for its trademark The Vercise Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) system. This therapy is used for treating patients who suffer from Tremors. This is one of the first such DBS systems with focused targeting of Precise Neural and comes with a 25-year Battery Life. This therapy can be used for one of the most common tremors called as Essential Tremor (ET). Tremor is a medical condition defined as, “involuntary and rhythmic shaking, usually associated with difficulty in an activity such as writing or holding and controlling items.” Statistically, the prevalence of Tremors is nearly 20 times higher than that of diseases such as Parkinson.
